HANNAH + NATHAN
From the bride-to-be:
“Nathan and I first met last summer. It definitely wasn't one of those ‘love at first sight’ kind of deals. I was the local track photographer, and he was a driver. I remember that first night, he had ordered some pictures from me and it seems like he caught me to ask a question every time he walked by. (But if you ask him, he only talked to me once.) A few months later, I had posted my Snapchat name on Facebook asking for new people to talk to. Later, I had a notification and it was him. We began talking instantly. One week later, we had our first date. We didn't plan for it to be a date exactly, but we met up at the skating rink, went to Popeye's, and talked for hours. I talked about my daughter and he talked about his sister who had recently passed. I knew I had found my person.”
“Fast forward into the New Year, and I knew that this was the man I wanted to marry. He was so great with my daughter and treated me like a queen (as he still does). In February, we went to pick out a ring. I was as giddy as a school girl, and he told me I would get it when I least expected it. Boy, was he right! On March 9th, we went out to a field to shoot skeet with his little brother. We finished off all of the shells and skeet we had and I was packing up the truck. I felt a tug on my shirt. I turned around and he was down on one knee, right there in the middle of a dirt road. The rest is history. March 21, 2020 I will be marrying my best friend, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!”
