TAYLOR + JOHN
A note from the groom:
“Taylor and I first met in college. When I first saw her I thought she was absolutely gorgeous and adorable as the day is long. I however made a few wrong assumptions.... the first being that she wasn’t in to me... and the second that a sorority girl wasn't allowed to date a tuba player. I would message her asking why she wasn’t in class on a more frequent basis than she would want me to admit lol. But I was literally as oblivious as can be that she liked me. As fate would turn out, she was absolutely obsessed (so this goes to show if you like someone let them know you really don’t have anything to lose). After college, our lives went different directions and we didn’t talk until one fateful day she needed a recipe. She found me in a very dark place in my life and loved me through the pain life had put me through. She healed my heart and is truly my greatest blessing. I thank God daily for not only working through her to heal me but to give her to me as my wife. What I have for her is beyond love. She is my everything.”

In November, I had the pleasure of photographing the Brown family in Jonesboro, Arkansas. At that time, Shandria and Jerrod had no idea they were about to embark on a remarkable new chapter in their lives—they were blissfully unaware that they were expecting a new addition to their family. Fast forward to our recent session, and it was truly heartwarming to see how their family of three had grown into a family of four, including their precious new baby girl.
