Casey & James’ Love Story
James and Casey met at the end of 2017, by the beauty of the new day and age of technology-Bumble! They never expected anything to pan out from this type of interaction, because they considered themselves “old-fashioned”. Casey was weary, but then she came across James! They were each other’s first date through Bumble. Casey and James struck up conversation over the phone and continued it for two weeks even though James traveled for baseball (as a coach) and the rest was history! Their first date was at Diamonds (a steakhouse in Waco, TX). They talked and saw each other everyday following. Two years and two dogs later, on July 2nd, 2020, James proposed in Hot Springs, Arkansas which is where James grew up. While dating, they took several trips to Hot Springs and fell in love with the city together. They didn’t want to waste anytime! I mean… getting engaged during a pandemic puts a perspective on things! With James’ coaching position they only had a window of time before season started! So, they decided to get married within just a few months in a place where so many memories were made. Their intimate wedding was a dream and fit them perfectly. ❤️

On August 6, 2022, Ebony and Justin celebrated their wedding day surrounded by loved ones. Their journey began on August 25, 2017, when they met at Journey Church Jonesboro, growing together through various ministries and small groups. Justin’s heartfelt proposal took place at their lake Airbnb on June 4, 2022. During a summer trip to Hot Springs, he surprised Ebony by kneeling and asking her to marry him during a photo session with friends. Their wedding was a beautiful start to a new chapter in their lives.
