In November, I had the pleasure of photographing the Brown family in Jonesboro, Arkansas. At that time, Shandria and Jerrod had no idea they were about to embark on a remarkable new chapter in their lives—they were blissfully unaware that they were expecting a new addition to their family. Fast forward to our recent session, and it was truly heartwarming to see how their family of three had grown into a family of four, including their precious new baby girl.
I had the great pleasure of working with the Quarles family once again, and this time it was to celebrate a beautiful new chapter in their lives. You may recognize Jamie Quarles as the Associate Head Coach for the Arkansas State University Men’s Basketball Team.
Nestled along the banks of the White River, Calico Rock, Arkansas, provided a picturesque backdrop for a recent photoshoot that I had the pleasure of conducting. The serene landscape and the radiant sunshine created the perfect setting for capturing the essence of a beautiful family: Samantha, her daughter Sophie, and her husband Garrett.
On the outskirts of Batesville, Arkansas, there’s a creek that has captured the imaginations of many who’ve visited it. Its serene beauty makes it the perfect backdrop for family memories. Recently, the Godbolt family—Erica, Cory, and their two delightful kids, Ella and Cameron—spent a magical day at this charming spot.
In the icy heart of January, I photographed the Shrable Family at Mirror Lake Waterfall in Blanchard Springs Caverns, Fifty Six, Arkansas. Despite the cold and the challenging hike, the stunning scenery provided the perfect backdrop for this growing family. Kendra Shrable is expecting her fourth child this July, and the love and excitement among the Shrables were palpable. It was a joy to capture these precious moments of anticipation and warmth amidst the frosty landscape.
A note from the groom: “Taylor and I first met in college. When I first saw her I thought she was absolutely gorgeous and adorable as the day is long. I however made a few wrong assumptions.... the first being that she wasn’t in to me... and the second that a sorority girl wasn't allowed to date a tuba player.
Kirby and William met at work training to fly the Embraer 175 for ExpressJet airlines. Kirby was already flying the EMB-145 for the company and training for the new plane. William was just starting with the company and coming over to work in the US from Australia.
“One day Zach met me at the coffee shop, paid for my coffee, and spent over an hour talking and listening to me. When the date was over I jokingly apologized for “talking his ear off,” Very seriously, Zach looked at me and said he loved listening to me. Right then I wanted to marry him.”
Hailie had been traveling the world, building her career, and doing her thing throughout her 20s without much thought of marriage or kids. Hailie laid everything out on the table and told Kirk her desire to marry and have children and how she felt that she didn't have a lot of time to wait. Kirk's response, "then let's get married!"
